Energy management

ISO 50001 : 2011

Energy", with its limited fossile sources of energy and the continuously rising energy costs, are rated as a central European challenge. All resulting national political decisions find their reflection in the European core strategy. Till 2020 the energy efficiency, as well as the share of renewable energy resources, shall increase about 20 %. In addition the greenhouse gas emissions have to be reduced by 20% compared to the year 1990. Presently the German economy is promoted by reduced eco-taxes.
From 2013 on, the energy concept of the federal government provides the accordance of tax cutting only in case of energy savings.

Böhmer Gusstechnik followed the call of government and decided to implement an energy management sytem according to DIN EN ISO 50001. This system is a proper instrument to identify and open efficiency potentials. Rising energy costs and fierce competition demand an efficient use of energy. As a proper method to reduce the specific energy consumption, systematic energy management has proven its worth.

We consider this system a high influence factor concerning our competitiveness.
